It must take a talented parent to help a child with homework. When a kid gets frustrated, he or she will yell or take it out on parents. When a kid at boarding school becomes frustrated, he is not allowed to yell at his tutor. The tutor does not try to replace a parent. So socially there is a great deal of distance between a student and his teachers and or tutors. Still, it is hard upon the child when he or she leaves the security of the home for a boarding school. It is not an easy life. My husband was lucky in that he received full scholarship to a boarding school. His parents did not have the money to send him. M....
