This is a misunderstanding, Cobe. I hope I answered it well enough in my earlier post about this. What I meant by my statement that Michael M's post, the one that scared the sht out of me and I have quoted repeatedly, was "significant" was that... well, it was important that there were millions and millions of people... oh, heck, you know. When I wrote that he "might as well have written it in his own hand on a wall" (or something close to that) I was indicating that I feared his statement represented the handwriting on the wall. And that that is why I found it important. It seemed so emblematic.* And I took it seriously, is what I meant, because of that. If in any way I sounded hostile or unpleasant, I feel just terrible about it, and truly apologize. I was answering one post after another with whatever came to mind, and that came to mind, I mean had already been on my mind, about MM's statement, and I think I was insensitive to my own tone. I am so sorry, Cobe, and especially because you have been fun to argue with and very civil and nice to me, even though we disagreed. Please forgive me for this, which was social clumsiness, not ill will, truly.
