My Thoughts... The assumption that the launch is dependent on the hiring May be wrong (I hope!). I would think that the correct assumption is that the hiring is for anticipated Growth, which would mean that they should have their staff in place for the launch. I hope that this is the case and that they (CY) are just FINE TUNING. Xmas season!!!!! Cheers

Things that make you go HMMMM!! (hiring) Hello, I am new on this thread, but not new on SI. I just want to bring my opinion on this issue of hiring scheme since I have a long experience in the IT industry. Training people right now, no way, just not enough time. Then you must hire consultants, people who are expert in that field and who will do the job right now and fast. These consultants will later train the new hired staff. This is how it usually work when you don't want to miss your deadline in the IT industry. I would be really surprise that CY would wait to find their staff to start their TO operation, it just does not make sense to me. Keep in mind that if you want to do very well and fast, consultants are the best issue. They cost a lot more but they will bring you a very strong expertise. Also, the process to find a consultants is a lot faster because they charge a lot more, therefore they are more available, So right now, CY did probably hire consultants for TO to meet their deadline. These same consultants (which are very expensive) will be replaced later by permanent staff to reduce costs. This is a scheme that I saw very very often. Just My Honest Opinion, Best Regards, claud_c
