If anyone is interested I use a Fax & Voice broadcasting service which anyone can set up on their own from home or via the Internet. The cost is cheap: 3.9 cents/min vs. the 15-35 cents per page going rate from other fax broadcast messages. As for the voice broadcast, the neat thing about it is that anyone can load up hundreds of numbers into the system - via their phone or on the net - and then make ONE call to record a message. Then all you have to do is send the message into the broadcast cue. The system does the rest. For every number you've targeted the system will attempt to call each number three times over a nine hour period. For voice broadcasts, each caller will hear a message that has your introduction to it like... "Hi this is Robert Utne, press 1 to hear an important update on the Zenith Bankrupcy case." The caller at the other end presses one key and they get to hear Bob's message/update on the situation. As far as Fax broadcasts go, the system works the same. You just have to be sure to have a fax and not a voice number for you will need to make a fax connection to send a fax which is obvious. If enough people share enough information as far as numbers go to media and political outlets nationwide this story could spread virally very quickly. Bob needs all the help he can get. I'm game to help organize such an initiative. The system is really quite easy to use and costs just $10 per month. Faxing and calling the Old way just doesn't cut it. I have plently of email addresses which I can share with others, too, but email gets clogged. Better to use Fax and Voice broadcasting backed by email and other methods. If someone wants to get this service I can point them to a website and they can sign up on their own. I can then point them to several people, including myself who would help walk them through on how to set it up. We could help anyone enter and store in all the right voice and fax numbers. Every individual would then be able to place their own voice message about this story for others to hear. The same would go for faxes.
