With AMD shipping ONLY 4.5 million CPUs (k6x + AthFLOPS) last quarter - and Cyrix and Centaur dropping out, the 800,000 increase from Q2 doesn't sound like AMD even kept up with the market expansion - especially since DEMAND was reported to be strong EVERYWHERE ! Do the math - AMD LOST MARKET SHARE last quarter - AGAIN - to Intel. My math computes a $54 ASP for the Kdawg family - does that jibe with yours ? Paul
