Paul, I guess that's your way to dodge the fact that AMD is nowhere today with a 64 bit CPU. That figures. A 64 bit CPU is of no value unless it provides a performance benefit over 32 bit CPU's. During uP Forum, Intel was repeatedly pressed to compare the performance of Merced vs. x86 implementations. They balked at every opportunity. That figures. Scumbria BTW: The closing discussion panel turned into a major Merced bashing event, and the Intel representative made almost no attempt to defend Islowium. Scumbria
