Mazda lets IBM Japan run its IT in $480 mln deal

Mazda, in which Ford Motor (F: news, msgs) holds a controlling stake, saw its stock dip 2 yen to 598.

In late August, IBM Global Services won a $235 million outsourcing contract from Japan's Mitsui Marine & Fire Insurance Co. to operate and manage the insurer's host computer system over the next decade.
