Andrew, Let me be honest with you. I really do not care whether or not the market is efficient. I just want to make money. Now, in an earlier post to Wayne, I have explained why I invest in index funds. The day the probability of winning will switch towards professional money managers, I will stop believing that the market is efficient. However, as long as 80% of professionals attempting to exploit market inefficiencies continue to lag the indices, as was the case last year, my bet will be on market efficiency, or at least the unexploitabilty of that. -BGR.
