Am home, however we're being kept extra busy these days with a number of things. As for logging on at sea, technically not a problem, but the expense and security considerations preclude that option. That would certainly make life at sea a whole lot more enjoyable. When I first started going out 10 years ago, our only contact with the real world was mail in foreign ports and the occasional radio news broadcast under the right conditions. With modern technology, we can remain as connected as anyone at work/home - the only challenges are the cost (satellite time) and security considerations.

As for the markets, looks like the psychology has changed. FWIW, I think the big Y2K correction a lot of people have expected is a non-starter. Seems to me this has been discounted over the past 6 months as a non-event. So long as growth, productivity and inflation are positive, I don't see a lot of downside to the US market, particularly in the tech sector.

Best wishes to all. Hope to be able join in a little more going forward.
