This is really a victory for the "others". The fact that the tally of the BJP and the Congress taken together can barely make it past the halfway mark, is indication enough. And all the hoopla about the "victory of the BJP" is also indication that the party wants to play "big brother" in the alliance. However, that will not be possible because in this case, the "tail" is 40% of the animal. Clearly, the tail will wag the dog here. How long the 23-piece tail will remain attached to the dog is another question though.
