Well...it seems that DRAM is more elastic than once thought...
__________

09:52 ET Semis : DLJ says that spot DRAM prices fell again yesterday, and "demand is so weak that many dealers have sold no DRAM at all in the past two days" and many dealers have suspended quotes as "buyers appear unwilling to buy at any price." DLJ cites pending PC shortage. MU -4 3/4, TXN -2 5/16, CY -1 3/4.

HIFN is halted. I would monitor the situation closely because this is what a high flying (PE)semi can do to one's portfolio (how about a 30% haircut) if something goes wrong.

Thinking about buying put on AMCC after the earning announcement. Hopefully it will be a blowout earning and a corresponding peak (say 15 minutes after open) in its overextended stock price. The near the money put is still as pricey as its PE.

TXCC - got a rating upgrade by Cohen. Strange the analyst always upgrades after the stock has found support. Thought they don't care about the chart... <GG>

MTSN - what's happening? Just MM's playing around I guess...
