Optim, just starting Delta study, also bought DeMark's new book

here is a 'crude' overview, the cycle begins and ends with new/old or old/new moon

wilder does a 'count' of high/low points per cycle over time and looks for a consistant number per ticker allowing trend cycles to be imputed based on history

for example, if a ticker has 9 'higher highs' or 'lower lows' per moon cycle, the next cycle will probably have the same pattern

there is also an 'inversion point' where pattern reverses up>down

this appears to be 'similar' to one of DeMark's indicators which looks for a 4 day setup period and 9 day 'execution' period for cycle repitions 13 days a 'FIB' number according to DeMark, but i'm not sure that he correlates to moon cycle

2x13 days is basically one moon cycle, but i haven't found 'moon' in the DeMark part that i have read :)
