I'm expecting a follow-up announcement to this excerpt from "The Prospector Investment and Exploration News" soon: AFRICA Columbia River Resources (CRVV:NASDAQ BB) is taking great leaps into Nigeria. The company recently entered into a letter of intent with local Bakuwa Mining Works (BMWL) to explore and develop tantalite deposits on BMWL's properties, which include a mining lease covering 106 km2 and two adjoining exclusive prospecting licenses that cover a total of 44.2 km2. The company says that although in the preliminary stage, exploration has identified five tantalite bearing pegmatite zones within the mining license. Columbia also signed another letter of intent with Nigeria's Tatco, which it says will bring additional tantalite properties and a few gold properties into its portfolio, and is currently negotiating with two more Nigerian companies.
