Dutch I think the 6/23/99 refers to the stephens analysis (try stephens.com or stephensresearch.com I forget which) The post on G&K may have been different. Also go to TV guides web site and download the financial data posted there. They also have a summary document about the merger, but it lacks any real meat.

Heya Dutch,

A good place to start for GMST research the Stephens site, link below:

stephens.com

Another source would be to simply go to a retail store and check out the Guide Plus+ on any TV that has it. Play the demo, check out the system that may have been already activated. Seeing and using the Guide first hand really makes one realize that in today's 100+ channel environment, the Guide will become indispensable. One of those "How did we ever live without this?" products.

Still another good source, as you might already know, is NYStew, who posts here and on Yahoo. More of his posts are on Yahoo, and he has informed many an investor.

Since the merger, the Yahoo board has unfortunately turned into less of an intelligent forum and more of a hype and spam site. It's a bummer, because that board was one of the few worth checking out. To filter out the nonsense, I would read posts by NYStew, LTInvestor98, VolumeNoticed, Direwolf94, myexpense and e_gmc.

I apologize to those that I may have left out. There are other good posters put these are the ones that come to mind.

Regards,
Moray
