Rande,

Do you follow Oxford Health Plans (OXHP)? They seem to be trading near their lows around this time last year. They've run in the 14 to 20 range most of the year in between. Recent scare of lawsuits have weighed heavy on HMO's. Might be good for a couple points here at this level around 11. Seems they are getting some speculation of takeover rumors. Over $4 book value, but has a LOT of shares OS.

Rande,

LTNX - Lintronic

Interesting company and will be in the right business at the right time. Now I understand how B2B will really work on the net - SMART CARDS! This company has been beaten up for a long time, but now may be the right time to get in. book value at around 1.75, and around 10M shares outstanding. Had announcement today at a Microsoft Business conference. Trading at near annual low - around $5, but already had a move up today. It needs some volume to propel it upward from here. But I have no doubt that it will be trading much higher in weeks to come. (maybe sooner)

REDMOND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 7, 1999--

Company Presents Details During Panel Discussion at Microsoft's
Smart Card 99 Business Development Conference

Litronic Inc. (Nasdaq:LTNX.O), a leading provider of Internet
security solutions, today announced a new version of ProFile
Manager(TM), its management tool for deployment of smart card and
public key infrastructure (PKI) security solutions.
The program is now able to manage the infrastructure for the many
corporate PKI applications anticipated with the release of Windows for
Smart Cards. Datamonitor projects the PKI market will dramatically
increase with a 62% global average annual growth rate between 1998 and
2003, substantiating significant revenue potential for Litronic.

Litronic's announcement came at today's Microsoft (Nasdaq:MSFT.O)
invitation only, Smart Card 99 Business Development Conference,
kicking off an industry collaboration to explore the wealth of
business applications that can benefit from the use of smart cards.
Smart cards and PKI technology, an advanced form of cryptography
that helps ensure the integrity and privacy of information transmitted
in electronic transactions, support multiple business applications
including time and attendance, local transactions, digital signatures,
electronic purse and e-commerce. Anticipating these multi-purposes and
increasing complexity in deployment, Litronic's ProFile Manager
manages the implementation and maintenance of smart cards for
enterprise deployment. The program offers significant benefits with
its scaleability and infrastructure support for evolving smart card
business applications.

"Smart cards can provide much more than secure access to your
computer," said Bill Holmes, vice president sales and marketing for
Litronic. "In addition to information security, common applications
are physical access, systems access and human resource uses.
Litronic's ProFile Manager fills the gap between vision and realityby
integrating several applications on a single card and offering easy
management and enterprise deployment."
ProFile Manager provides a central point of data management,
controlling the deployment, application and content for every user. It
streamlines policy profiling for certificates, credentials, PIN rules,
key generation and key backup and recovery and allows customization to
organizations by offering printing and magnetic striping with each
card. ProFile Manager offers easy distribution of Windows Powered
Smart Cards including notification and remote activation.
"Windows for Smart Cards will allow smart cards to reach mass
deployment far quicker than through the current proprietary
solutions,"
said Mike Dusche, director of Smart Card Marketing at
Microsoft Corp. "Products such as Litronic's ProFile Manager will help
provide the mature system management business need to maintain the
security infrastructure and support the multiplicity of smart card
uses on the Internet."
