management : well, uh...

i wonder if some of this might scare off new investors in the sector ?

Mike,

I'm tossing something around in my head. There's been heavy corporate debt issuance in recent months related to concerns about Y2K. Assuming no disasters, would you expect credit spreads to narrow next year when a more even flow of debt hits the market? Or are you expecting problems in the economy to keep spreads high or perhaps even higher?

MB, or anyone,

Who is going to eat the cost associated with the Rambus fiasco. I believe with enough time and money the engineers can get this thing working, but I also believe the costs will be prohibitive and they will not be able to reduce costs fast enough relative to other solutions.

I am trying to figure out who will carry the liabilities. If I were a CEO of a box maker or chip maker I would have my Lawyer in my office.
