I must disagree on two points Betty. they want the "issue" to demagogue, not a real solution. The democrats do want a "solution" to the crises they keep creating. They want 100% socialized medicine. Listen to Wellstone. He's the only socialist honest, or guileless, enough to admit that that's the goal but make no mistake, they all share it. The truth is they KNOW that if low income people were allowed tax credits for their health insurance premiums, the "crisis" would evaporate into thin air. This is wrong because low income people DON'T PAY ANY TAXES so tax credits are meaningless to them.
