By the way, I should explain that I didn't expect anyone to know how one tests whether or not an imperative is categorical, so I was referring to THE categorical imperative, i.e., that one treat a rational being not only as a means, but also as an end, the first principle of morality. However, the way I phrased the question made your answer quite correct.....
