I agree with you and I think it's going to be interesting in the next few years to see how this all works out for all companies. CPQ is having problems trying to do both. However, MAT should have links to their retailers anyway and maybe even blurbs about their products. I also remember a news release a while back where they discussing a super website.

I still think that this is a good buying opportunity. It's just I'd like to see a little more effort to the future (e.g. the toys with Intel).

The role of a manufacturer's web site should be to stimulate interest and demand...not attempt to bypass distribution. They're customers would de-emphasize them if they did.
