You're right about that site being rather limited. The other whisper of $.28(???) seems overly aggressive.

I bought HIFN around 11:00am EDT. It was halted at about 11:43am. Interesting that there have been relatively few big block transactions. Except for to 20K sells right before the halt.

Latest word from Briefing.com..

12:43 ET Hi/fn (HIFN) 74 -30 3/4: The stock is still halted and HIFN has not yet released any information. There is now talk that the problem is Q4 orders. BancBoston Robertson Stephens analyst Arun Veerappan did make comments on HIFN to the BBRS sales force this morning, but he did not downgrade the stock, as was incorrectly reported on CNBC.

I think Veerapppan is the analyst that I posted a link to a analyst conference call a day or so ago. I'll see if I can find it.
