It's maybe good that elections got postponed in some constituencies in Bihar. Maybe BJP can now try win those seats, too. Also, Sonia has to vacate Bellary/Amethi. BJP could take a better shot at these, too.

So there is still a good chance of going past this psychological 300 barrier for stability.

Looks like you still want to lean on the crutch that I support the Congress(I). The Congress(I) has more or less folded up, and the BJP will follow suit. While the former had a "lifetime" of 50 years, the latter will be a spent force within the next 5 or 10 years at the most. The ascendancy of the "others", especially in the heartland state of UP is a pointer to the future.

As I said before, this is a victory for the "others". If the BJP nutcases think that they can call the shots, they've got another think coming.

They will hang onto any obscure issue to drum in the notion that Congress(I) is somehow India's saviour.

Satya:

Dynasty-dependent Congress Party is an effete outfit, whose time has come and gone at the stroke of midnight, when Nehru announced ushering-in of an independent nation. It has increasingly become a party whose aim is to mesmerize and befuddle the masses, including the minorities into thinking that Congress is the only one saviour of the "downtrodden". to the exclusion of other parties. Congress is rickety, & creaky and is suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
