It should not improve and could possibly still worsen. My sources are only in the steamship biz, not air freight, but I am aware that 90% of all international trade is by sea.

Keep in mind that the XMAS RUSH is on, and for the next 3 vessels for a specific company, they are booked about 105-110%. What that means is that they actually have to reject cargo, and this is from a quality/expensive carrier not the discount carriers. From what I understand the discount carriers are in much worse situation where they have to reject much more cargo.

On the import side there are jumping for joy, but on the export side the sales force is fighting just to get junk cargo.
