I noticed a few things today. I think we hit some serious ipo dilution and 'fatigue' today. The way most of these have been opening
too high and burning the early risk takers, as well as the dilution of so many at once.. it was a tougher day. PLRX especially... tho CLIC offered some good opportunities. I've noticed that the mms run the ipos up so fast when buying hits its almost impossible to get your order in, and when selling hits they drop so fast you can't get out...But I also noticed that some of the issues that have been ignored for a while moved nicely on news or rumors of news.. like UBID, up 8+ with news with infoseek,
and ABTL up 6+ with an announcement coming tomorrow..
missed buying PTVL on news early monday
and it just hasn't come back:

PD, I've noticed that too. Other than intraday scalpings, I can't discern any halfway enduring trend among most of the issues I watch. TIVO - for instance, I've no idea where it will go the next day although I time the intraday top and bottom fairly well. The job# tomorrow will be important.

Very aggressive short sellers in PLRX today - including one of the assisting UWs. GSCO made some efforts in supporting the IPO, but it wasn't until it was way below 30. CLIC performs as I expected - not sure which way it will go tomorrow, though.

BVSN's strength astounds me. It's advance over 30 pts since the declaration of 3-1 split. I am still holding 1/2 position.

KEYN - one that I've been accumulating is breaking out today
DSLN so far disappointing, but will wait
AGIL - missed this 2nd run. Caught almost the entire movement of the first run, however, not much regret.
