Sam/Dan

Correct me if I am wrong(and there is always a 50/50 chance that I am- higher than that if you ask my wife :-) ) but all of our beliefs, be they Gnostic, Christian, New Age, Hindu, wiccan, or anything else, require some level of faith.

The fact is that none of us is in the position to absolutely know for sure if what we believe is true. We can only make assumptions based on what makes sense to us personally. WE can have strong assumptions that appear to us to be the only rational answer, but that is about all we can do.

There should be room for all of us (even gulp, emile) to believe as we do, as long as we are not overtly physically harming someone. Before someone says that the wrong path can be harmful, We are only talking about philosophy and words, each of us is free to not listen or to just walk away.

Besides, isn't the best representation of our beliefs our very own actions? Isn't the best determinant how close our beliefs bring us towards unconditional love?

Mark
