The news today has been upbeat and favorable, I think. Have there been more inside sales planned than the norm?
Isn't this just typical, or are you seeing an increase?

Oh Willamena, you of all people should know that this is routine for Dell insiders. If you went back four years, you would see the same level of activity (on a relative basis). Just because they are legendary managers doesn't mean that they are legendary investors. Tom Meridth has been quoted as saying that "diversification is very expensive insurance".

:o)

William, RE: There's quite a few planned sales (form 144) from insiders for Dell Computer.

More than likely, most all of that stock has already been sold. All the filings were from September. Usually, you don't file until close to the day you intend to sell the shares. The actual report of the sale isn't due until the 10th of the following month. In this case, the 10th is a Sunday, so the report would be due on the 11th. Thus, we'll see the sales reported on the 12th, which will most likely show that all of these shares have long since been sold.

William, how would you like to have a money machine like MD and his staff have? Keep selling...exercise your options...sell...options...sell...

Heck, haven't they heard one should never, ever sell Dell??? Who said diversification was bad???
