Sandy, the news people are so enthralled with the liberal idea that they will do anything to try to discredit the Republicans (AKA conservatives). Most of the anchor people in this country should be held accountable for editorializing instead of just reporting, as they are paid to do. Unless,of course, the management of all these stations are of the same ilk.

Sandintoes, it is clear that after the "do-nothing" congress label
has stuck on the house, we will have the "know-nothing" Senators, only
by a dogged clutching of ignorance and denial of the scientific presentation will they continue to try to revive this dead horse of
a cold war. Gee wouldn't it be nice to explode some nuclear bombs
just like in the good-ole days? I am aghast that Jeane Kirkpatrick and
Caspar Weinberger, whom I previously respected as rational politicians, would join this "oppose Clinton at all costs" Jihad. I suppose its an attempt by the radical baptists to bring on the Armageddon - can't hack the real world.

Or maybe its just some easy fodder for George W to come out on an international issue. I might even warm to the man if he could move the party - alluded to in today's WashingonPost article. Despite his lack of qualifications, if he follows up and can truly lead with his own opinion out of the morass which is the RP - then I would say he is electable and it would actually by almost a gimme. The idealogues are gearing up now to do battle, if he can defeat this challenge and truly lead the debate, it would be an impressive turn in his candidacy. I think he'll wimp out. If he has nothing on the Cold Warriors by tomorrow, he has wimped out.

Greg
