It's too late, the $25K was from the adjuster, and when they brought in counsel to defend, he took the offer off the table. This all took place while I was sick, and I wasn't really as sharp as I should have been, I should have browbeaten her into taking the money. I know how to do it, but it's something I rarely do, browbeat clients, I mean. It always makes me feel so condescending. In this case, I probably should have done it.
