IOMEGA CONFIRMS BOMB! CANCELLATION

In this news regarding IBM's new external hard drives for laptops, it states near the bottom that Iomega has indeed confirmed it is cancelling the external Bomb! drives.

Yet another one of my Iomega predicitons has come to pass. I stated last year that Bomb! would not last beyond the first half of the year 2000. But sadly, I was too optimistic again about Iomega. Bomb! didn't even make it to Jan 1, 2000! If you think 500,000 Bomb! drives sitting in a warehouse is bad, just think of how many Bomb! DISKS must be collecting dust!

I'm laughing all the way to Phili on this news! And Iomega continues to SHRINK.
