Very good article, thoughtful enough and let us hope all that happens. But there is a monkey wrench thrown into all this 2 days ago with the announcement of WORLDCOM. Mr. Armstrong now has another one coming from telephony area with this merger. Mr. Kennard helped him to some extent by faintly indicating that he himself would look into the MCI Worldcom - Sprint deal to determine that the merger makes sense to the consumer.

But experts feel that the merger deal will go through and Mr. Armstrong knows that too. So he has to act quickly here with AOL before he takes on Worldcom which is waiting in the wings.
