Well now one has to consider your point. Clearly, there have been many many points in development when Intel would have evaluated, tested & demonstrated Rambus technology prior to positioning itself to go forward. Rambus technology with Intel support did not evolve this far by a mistake. Years & years of development would have long ago demonstrated the value in going with Rambus technology or the lack of it. Yes. there is a problem & another delay, likely won't be the last time this sort of thing happens.
