ROFL! The problem is that E and some of the other people on this thread don't see what you are describing so marvelously. On this thread--at its best--as I have posted previously, the potshots take place in an arena in which all the players know one another and have respect for one another. They are similar to political debates within a family: They may be to the mat, but there is understanding and affection, which keeps the quarrels out of the area of drawing blood. (Usually) This got totally outside the usual "feel" of this thread. Taking an aspirin because I don't want to leave this thread, but if it turns into another version of Kosovo, I am history. I relish a good debate, even quizzes--Neocon's were irresistable because they were in the spirit of fun--but when it get into personal attack, "been there, done that" and it's a waste of time and fingertips.
