Re: Barrick - I've been unable to log-in for the last couple of weeks - so have been in the position of reading the messages - but not able to respond. I just posted this on the Barrick (edit) Thread:

Serge, Robert Kalb, etc., etc., ad nauseum - it's about time someone challenged all this bilge and crap that is being posted about Barrick and its hedging programme. I don't know if ABX has made a NR about it yet - up to yesterday it hadn't - probably operating under the premise 'let the ignorant flounder, and let the wise realise that Barrick is the best placed of all the major producers' - and that the pullback in the stock is mainly because so many people are too lazy to differentiate between the good and the bad in this gold mining game. nuf said? dd

It's quite extraordinary how the most successful of all the major producers attracts so much (ignorant) bile "Peter Munkey" for example.

And being able to read and not respond had been interesting, and frustrating in other ways - Henry V's brief sojourn was interesting too and the responses from O'49er - not answered I think? But Henry is always sanguine and wise.

Interesting times and more to come.
