I do not know. SI ought to be able and willing to answer that question: perhaps not immediately, but soon. But, I'll bet that now is the best time ever for anyone that was previously terminated to ask for reinstatement.

I doubt that any prior termination has generated the kind of response that this one has: certainly, none that I recall. I know that there have been some prior terminations with some level of response: both pro and con. Perhaps, this situation was just the icing on the cake, as it were, that made it important enough for SI to address as an overall issue.

Without regard to A@P's situation, I strongly believe that the apparent inconsistency of termination decisions was a situation that needed a response. Given their past stellar track record of working things out and listening to members, I am still willing to give SI the benefit of the doubt; both as to motives and intended result.
