The desirability of a takeover, merger or some other form of consolidation depends on who the other party is and the type of transaction involved, doesn't it? I can understand not wanting to have GBLX shares bought by, or exchanged for shares in, one of the dinosaurs but that's not the only possibility. What about a merger with another progressive company? Shares in a GBLX and MCI-Worldcom combination (GBLX/Qwest, GBLX/Williams maybe?) might be just as attractive as GBLX by itself. GBLX/Deutsche Telekom, now that's different.

Most of the talk of a takeover seems to have assumed that it would take the form of a cash tender offer. I would think a merger and exchange of GBLX shares for those of a merged entity is just as likely. But then I came to GBLX by way of FRO so I have that perspective.
