When AIDMK allied with BJP, it won massively. When DMK allied with BJP, it won splendidly. The fact is, each time the BJP allied with the party that was in favor. Let them try going it alone in TN once, and they will see exactly what they are worth! (And they should also try going it alone in AP at the same time. That will pretty much shut them out of the entire South!) And btw, if it was BJP working the charm, one could ask how come they couldn't change the fortunes of the JD(U) in Karnataka state? Your claim that "illiterates" are not wise and intelligent... First off, I did not make any such claim. The issue came up when some BJP supporters here made a big thing about illiterates voting for the Congress. So, if anybody said that illiterates are not wise, it is those people. Not me. If you are smart, you should open your eyes and revise your beliefs. And if you are smart, you will realize that nearly 50% of the seats have been won, not by the BJP or by the Congress, but by the "others". All the talk about the country heading towards a two-party system has turned out to be nonsense. When the single largest party barely manages to get a third of the seats and the next one gets hardly 20% of the seats, it is silly to say that it is not a victory for the "others".
