If that's the case, I'd complain if I were a member.

On the other hand, you're just using them as a connection...there's nothing stopping you from installing your own browser. Many people that use MSN don't realize that.

Ed, no - the browser setting for choosing a start page is
still there and enabled. But, after dial-up, the browser opens automatically on the start page of THEIR choice.
In the case of MSN that isn't so bad, because you get
a notice of e-mail messages waiting right there. Then,
clicking on that notice, opens the e-mail program [OE5].
Alta Vista takes you to Alta Vista, since it's free. :)

PS: sometimes the browser does NOT open automatically
after dial-up to MSN. When I open it manually, it goes
to my start page selection, Yahoo!
