If @HOME could blanket the US and Canada with disks, and all you had to do was install the software, and give your credit card online, @HOME would easily be at least at the 3mil mark by now, perhaps as high as 5 mil. And thats just in areas where the lines are upgraded.

Its the INSATALL THAT HOLDS UP @HOME's subscription rate, nothing else. AOL can do nothing to help if they bought @HOME today.

Thinking that T and @HOME need AOL, because they only have 1mil subscribers is incorrect. If AOL bought @HOME today, they would still only have 1mil BB subs, and still only install 2000 a day... oh wow, AOL was a savior to @HOME.

@HOME's subs will come, starting this fall when you can buy a cable ready comp and install @HOME without a tech visiting your computer (even though a cable guy will have too). Logistics and technology are holding @HOME back right now.

Satelite and wireless won't make a dent in cable BB. AOL needs the pipes.

Jay
