Dr. G: Knowing the volatility of the tech sector, I now maintain a mental target price. I don't worry when the stock price goes down (I hate when it happens like everyone else) but know that as long as my fundamental reason for owning the stock in the first place remains sound the issues surrounding the stock decline will eventually get resolved.

David, what happened to you happened to me. Even if you sell calls so out of the money that you think the stock will never reach the strike price, it will.

My brother in law who is a tremendous broker gave me this definition of the stock market: It is a forum which confounds the most people and the most positions, most of the time.

If strategies were so clear, we would all have a "dead sinch lock" on making so much money it wouldn't be believed.

He taught me to stay the course in adverse conditions, remain fully invested in quality securities.

Good luck David. I am glad you closed out your call positions and own AOL free and clear. I am realistically looking in my opinion for AOL to be $150 by X-Mas.
