Johnson Matthey sees palladium averaging $350-400 next 6 months
London--Nov 16--Palladium is forecast to average US $350-400 per ounce for
the next 6 months, due mainly to an expected 630,000-ounce implied deficit,
according to Johnson Matthey's Interim Review. Demand is expected to rise by
2.5% to 8.3 million ounces in 1999, whilst supplies are expected to fall by
730,000 ounces to 7.67 million, the UK-based precious metals group said. (Story

banco$, Jason Marcotte and all:

Rhodium made a run, and may be topping out:

"Rhodium still strong, consumers continue buying
London--Jan 24--Rhodium prices have eased slightly after reaching a high of
US $1,420 per ounce last week, according to market sources. Traders said
although the market is overvalued from a fundamental point of view, consumer-led
demand along with concerns of delays to shipments from Russia have pushed prices significantly higher. (Story .18941)" From Bridge News-Precious Metals at

Jason inquired of possible Rhodium plays on the NAP board, and I knew of none

but in thinking about this, realized that there is more than one interesting question here.

Does anyone reading these boards know of a good Rhodium mining play?

And if Stillwater [SWC} does as I recollect have relatively high grades of Rh, is there a possibility that Idaho [IDO] comprises a possible junior play on Rhodium? There seems not to be an SI board on IDO, does anyone follow this company?
