Bill <<The feds of many countries...with some clandestine sales>>

But if the hurt and pain and lost is felt by enough everyday commom folks
who trusted in the big boys & girls who run those Feds and government
agencies to protect them from misuse and corruption, and it is identified
that these boys & girls let, and maybe helped, this gold mess that
affected many other areas that touched their lifes, then I bet not a
wooden nickel, but a golden dollar from 1849r time that they will first
be suspended without pay and then fired and then as regular citizens of
each country they will be viewed as the type not wanted to protect us
all, and be replaced with the likes of Ralph Nader & Bill Murphy.

A present day look into the near future, is the following post.

<<I do not worry about the Y3K problems either.>>

To me the Y2K computer bug will just slow things down for a month or two,
and supply & demand will cause inflation big time for those goods in
slow supply. Probably a lot of small business owners will suffer the
most as they cannot be supplied as usual, and when so the raw materials
will cost lots more. For example, local pizza maker will only be able
to sell 1/2 the usual at 2 time the price, best case. For sure the
most wanted topping will cause the most problems, but not for me as
mine is extra cheese with triple anchovies.
