I think the ERICY G* is Sat/GSM. In downtown London in a building it will access the local GSM cell.

As it happens I'm sure the quality of the sat connection which I assume is CDMA will be better than GSM ( GSM sucks for continuous reliability in my experience).

Can't wait to see the G** sat quality on CDMA.
