Olstein is a guy worth listening to. He used to work with O'glove at the Quality of Earnings report and is rarely whacked by accounting issues. I completely agree about Olstein, but this is the second high profile whacking he's taken in full public view. (I guess that's what he gets for being honest and outspoken <g>). A couple of years ago he was pounding the table on Loehmann's, a woman's clothing retailer. Within a year it was in Chapter 11. I don't think things will get that bad at Mattell, although they could if Jill gets to stay on for another year or two.
