RE: 3 ELs down to 2

Sonny, Had to report that it's time for others to buy Nextel (NXTL), make big bucks, <gg>, as I sold @ $82 5/8, after looking at it for days, very volatile, Wcom/Fon hype has made Nxtl run thru the roof. (Now it's over $83?) Took time off from a busy day to cash in. Having bought Nxtl @ $24, watched it down to $17, up to $45 when approached by Wcom, then back to $35, and now who knows what; Am starting to accum. cash in IRA, but am very pleased with the 1 "+" yr. NEXTEL investment; Down to 2 ELs, IntEL, and NortEL, the latter an absolute monster, owned after Bay was bought. Will hold, am looking next few weeks to get some stocks we've discussed. Also lucked into a few bucks when a small biotech, a dog for months, was bought out when we were away for vacation, US Bioscience (UBS), cracked $15, bought @$10 yrs. ago, am happy to be in the green on that one. My driller, DO, continues to get drilled. Back to work.

Regards, Royco

Hello Sonny,

Hope all is well. Where is LU is going? The shares have been
below the year high for almost 7 months and it seems that
the sstock can't break 70. Why?

Thanks,++

Yaacov

Sonny,

Back to the markets after a long hiatus. I see that most of my stocks are up from where I left them a few weeks ago. This constant dropping in and out of the "market world" has conditioned my investment strategy. I have to try to find things that don't require lots of watching.

What's amazing is the amount of good news these days and how little that affects the market. Also, the minimal effect of news of enormous natural disasters.

AOL kicking up its heels a bit, the pharmas recovering nicely (AHP inexplicably going up on news of an enormous settlement, I guess investors were only concerned about the uncertainty and once the bad news was about as bad as it could be they sighed a big sigh of relief). I bailed out of AHP earlier this year thinking that they would have difficulty with the lawsuit. Did not get any WCOM because I've been away from the market and all my orders expired. I think DELL will start its move upward with next month's earnings.

Anyway, nice to be back.

Sonny, new studies indicate you should be bold. Buy some INTC options Monday.
