Steve, It looks like Dell, who's just in time model gets hurt right away, is trying to use force on Taiwanese suppliers to bring their orders to the front of the line.
. Will they get Intel to carry their bat?
ie co-threaten?
Compaq and IBM will also wave their line jumping sticks?, as will all the other big players.
The Taiwan suppliers will jump at charging them a line jumping fee, I bet.
So prices will rise on small parts too? And the screwdriver shops will get to go to the end of the line. You can bet acer will not.

stevie,

Re: "Hi Paul, Still trying to sell your copper fantasy I see."

Some people just have to learn the "hard way" ... stevie, it is a
fact that AMD has already slipped their K7's at Dresden AND Motorolo
is having a hard time producing the G4 CPU for Apple. Sorry that
the facts don't "align" with your AMD "vision". BTW stevie, did
you address this to the right person ??!! <ggg>

Make It So,
Yousef

Steve

It appears you are right again. The stock recovered froom a low of 17 7/8 and looks like it will close around 18 1/2. Maybe it will rally next week.

Steverino - Re: "Hi Paul, still trying to sell your copper fantasy I see. I thought you would have made up another story by now. How's the 820/RAMBUST project going? "

The 820/Rambust program seems to be going as good as the Dresden Copper process - which won't generate revenue until - uh - I think Jerry said something like AFTER July 1, 2000.

Stevie - Re: "Too bad Intel doesn't have any processors faster than 600mhz."

Too bad AMD's 600 MHz processors didn't produce a PROFIT !

Re: " And have a great day Paul."

I had another great day, Stevie - watching Intel increase a little and AMD drop a little.

Did you enjoy this as much as I did ?

Paul
