At the time, General Hap Arnold was moving toward achieving his dream of creating an independent air force. He'd established the intelligence unit to make air force training films and documentaries, train camera crews, and accompany our planes on combat missions. I was sent to the unit because of my experience in motion pictures.

It has generally been reported that Reagan's sole responsibility with this unit was providing voice-overs for training films. Unless you have some solid evidence to the contrary, I submit that your previous suggestion that his work in Intelligence gave him the opportunity to view footage taken in concentration camps is too absurd even to warrant consideration.

While the film-production unit might have come technically under the Intelligence label, suggesting that RR was an Intelligence officer - or anything other than an actor - during the war is ridiculous.

It is useless arguing about this stuff. There is evidence in Ronald Reagan's service jacket unless it was "lost" in the St. Louis fire years ago. Wait until the jacket is released.
