Macromedia is going into the application market rather than just selling tools. Its a better strategy and I think its a very good move. The model is changing but its changing for the better. Lower earnings and higher revenues are being projected in the near-term but this company is going for growth and will become a solid player in providing value to website infrastructure. As it begins to look more like the other apps players and revenue growth accelerates, the multiple should expand. The stock isn't even at new highs yet so risk is limited relative to the group (BVSN, SILK, ARTG etc...)
