Prediction from thr Raging Bull thread:

Schwab prediction

OK Schwab brought in record assets again last quarter, their branch system met all their goals, new accounts and assets. Now comes the trading volume, I wasn't off by much last month, unfortuneately your 150,000 a day is high they are going to come in about 140,000 trades a day. They knew this was coming, so the tightened their belt on expenses and that alone will make them come in .01 ahead of analyst expectations on Oct 14th. I have own this stock for 14 years and I can tell you, if they were not going to meet their numbers they would pre-announce. They are keeping a tight lip so they can surprise and the stock can rebound. This idiot at Morgan, doesn't realize that they have a revenue stream from mutual funds financial advisor business, market maker, institutional, should i GO on, they do not rely just on the trading numbers. Give me a nast message back if on the Oct 14 th they are not .01 ahead. I have never been so sure about this one.

There should be an investigation by the SEC on these self-serving and OLB bashing calls. The OLBs need to move into IPO and underwriting in a big way, and eliminate the dinosaur once for all.
