Steve, I agree with about language. It moves and changes. In time we will see the u in colour gone. There are others.
The british spell tire as tyre, I could go on.
As long as the meaning is clear, let it go.

OT I don't know....I went to Syracuse which is close to Ontario and I thought winters sucked....I couldn't wait to graduate. That whole snowbelt area is a lot to handle. And if it isn't snow, its rain(although it has some redeeming qualities: the great lakes, Toronto and Montreal). I suspect you will end up in the states esp. if you don't like spelling colour....I agree; anything that reduces typing time is excellent.
