"Among the larger stocks, we continue to favor AOL,
Amazon, Excite@Home, and Priceline.com."

gpowell the deal isn't final yet, but I'm assuming AOL will buy a stake in ATHM and the AOL portal would become ATHM's opening page...this would be a commercial ad for AOLers, in essence allowing everyone who currently has AOL to learn about ATHM and should they want to go broadband, well ATHM will now have their business...I see this as a win-win situation for both companies...I realize ATHM might grow on its own too, but I don't think it has the same customer growth potential on its own, than it would have if exposed to 20 million AOL customers...just my opinion.
