<I figured that some encryption must be occurring on the data that is moving from the client to the server. That is good to hear. What about the security of the site? Can you guarantee no one but me can access my docs?>

For paying customers, we will offer financial guarantees.

<With a program like Laplink 2000 I can remotely control any pc connected to the net. It contains support for 128 bit encryption and supports Printer Redirection. So all I would have to do is use LLK to connect to my office computer, start the Remote Control service, open the doc, make the changes and print it to the clients printer.>

Laplink costs $170, it is a fairly hefty download of at least 8 megabytes, and it requires you to have it on both your host machine and your client machine which is highly unlikely (picture asking your clients to buy a copy of Laplink and install it before you come by:-). This is not a practical solution as compared to a truly web based app.
